Entertainment for Days?
I have done something to piss off my back, and I’m having to work overtime at work this week. So things might be a little slow for a while, both in posting here and in reading your own blogs.
In the meantime, here’s a mandala that incorporates both a Buddha and my personal favorite serpent, Ouroboros:
I think you’re supposed to stare at the central fish or something. So get to it!

What’s it do if I stare long enough.
dammit I hate not being stoned I can stare for at least an hour then.
is that buddha in the middle and are there eight rings around the center?
it looks like you have found your path. (don’t forget the water)
I stared at the central fish for 15 minutes yesterday and today I’m having fish for me dinner.
Coincidence? I think not.
you want me to stare at a fish or something – I value what eyesight I’ve got man!
Hope things get a bit easier for you.
i stared at it for 15 minutes and fell asleep…
apos: It’s supposed to help you clear your mind and enter a different state of consciousness. Like weed.
leo: There do appear to be eight concentric circles there. Not sure where this came from, but the mandala-maker seemed to have his/her act together.
beany: It’s probably a good thing you didn’t stare at the Buddha, then…
menhir: Thanks for the well-wishes. I’ve never successfully “used” a mandala before but they sure are neat-looking.
jackie: That’s why the Buddha always looks so peaceful… all those naps. And all those Chinese buffets don’t hurt, either.
Oh, I stared at it for so long, that yeah – my mind is damn clear. It’s empty
yes but will it make me giggle?
